* Healers in [[Holtburg]], [[Sanamar]], [[Shoushi]], and [[Yaraq]] sell level 1 - 4 [[Attribute]] buffs. Look under "Services".
* The Lugian merchants in Holtburg, Shoushi, and Yaraq sell special protection gems. When used, these gems cast spells equal to level 3s for the 7 elemental protections and the natural armor spell.
* The [[Exploration Society Letters]] quest provides an excellent suit of armor, jewelry, weapons, and a shield for low levels. This quest is restricted to levels 1 - 20.
* The healers in non-starter towns, for example [[Cragstone]] and [[Arwic]] sell better potions and healing kits than those you can find in your starter town. If you have healing, [[Gifted Healing Kit]]s are the best kit until you can obtain stronger kits from quests.

The lands around the 4 current starter towns are excellent places to hunt outdoors. The creatures immediately outside the towns are passive until attacked, so they are very easy to fight. If you are looking for some starter cash, you can easily hunt the landscape and return to town with full packs and gain 100k+ pyreals.
