Quest Overview

A quest to aid the Arcanum in removing crystals that once blocked mana from getting to the magical essences. The essences have now gone but you can continue to to retrieve prism fragments as proof of the deed in return for Writs of Refuge (two writs for Acid & Lightning).
The craftable fragments that are given back to you can also be combined into a Prismatic Plume for a Niffis Shell Helm or even placed onto hooks in your home.

Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Hail! The Arcanum has asked us to inform all adventurers of an undertaking that you may perform to obtain Writs of Refuge. However, these places are not without their dangers and should not be ventured into alone. We have found large cisterns fueling the magical Essences of Dereth, but something deep within these furnaces is hindering the flow of mana."

Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Go there, find a means to collect proof that you have assisted in the clearing of this stopgap, and return to any Arcanum Agent with the proof to receive your reward."
