Gevran Loritane was a Yalaini noble, who built many of the structures on Aerlinthe, and disappeared during the Third Sending of Darkness.
- After visiting Shimena Keep in the year RE 221, Lord Gevran Loritane of Elancia decides to develop the riches of the island where the Keep is built.[1] That this was not entirely his own idea, but was put into his mind, becomes clear from the correspondence between Aerfalle and Rytheran.[2]
- He names the island Aerlinthe, a name he got from a dream, but was whispered to him by Rytheran. The island is in fact named after Aerfalle. [1][2]
- Loritane starts building a mining outpost and building a Harbor, which he names Raina's Harbor after his wife Raina. In the years RE 222 and RE 223, the two Lighthouses are finished and a navigation channel into the lagoon is dredged. In the year RE 225, the Tenkarrdun's forges return their first profit. [1]
- Loritane and Raina return to Elancia in the year Re 225, and the master smith Hare Aralea is appointed governor of Aerlinthe.[1] Later, Loritane discovers the romance between Aralea and Raina who was bewitched by one of Aerfalle's servants.[2]
- RE 371: The forges begin to produce weapons designed by Lord Atlan of Knorr. Lord Loritane takes the finest axe, and has the Eaulinthe, a large diamond containing a small amount of liquid magma, which is kept hot and brightly shining through unknown magical means, found in the deepest crevasses of Tenkarrdun, fixed upon its blade. With this weapon he joins the northern army at Planae. [1]
- When contact with the town of Daralet is lost, Emperor Caerlin I orders Lord Atlan and Lord Loritane to look into the situation. [3]
- Loritane disappears in the Dericost Marches, along with most of Atlan's army, never to be seen again.[1] Most probably, they fell victim to the forces of Ilservian Palacost.
- After his disappearance, Lady Raina, the Lady of Aerlinthe, gives birth in RE 372 in Elancia to a daughter, Clari Loritane.[1]
