Items are anything that can placed in the equipment slots or inside a container. Some items appear on the environment that can be clicked or interacted with but cannot be picked up. Fixed items such as these are known as objects. Items are obtained in the following ways:

Loot

Main article: Loot

Mutated Loot

Items that the loot system generates can be mutated with different stats from the loot tables. The tables that hold the stats are organised into tiers with the stats increasing as the tiers get higher. Loot can range from generic items such as health potions and healing kits to top tier items such as a piece of armor or weapon that has powerful attributes and spells. Mutated loot from the tiers is the most common type of loot.

Trophies

Other items known as trophies can also appear in addition to tier generated loot. Trophies include quest items, keys, body parts and many other items.

Rares

Rares are powerful items that can appear with loot on a defeated creature greater in level than the player character who killed it - or on any creature over level 100.

There are six tiers of rares ranging from the most common tier 1 rares, which consist of volatile skill buff gems, to the least common tier 6 rares consisting of weapons for each class. Rare armor and weapons can also be levelled up to cast more powerful spells on the wielder.
