Quest Overview

Though not a part of the Rossu Morta line of loyalty quests, you must be a member of the Rossu Morta in order to do this quest due to the starting location being the Rossu Morta Chapterhouse.

This is one of two quests (the other being Pheraion's Sanctum Quest) which includes a random Royal Runed Weapon as part of the reward.

Walk Through

1. Speak with Barsinni in the Rossu Morta Chapterhouse.
2. Go to the Lost Messenger's Corpse at 54.2S, 82.9W and use it to retrieve the Messenger's Journal.
   • Route: Run from Ayan Baqur.
3. [Optional] Bring the journal page back to Barsinni (to save time, can be completed later).
4. Go to the Assassins' Hideout at 54.5S, 80.7W.
5. Proceed to the end. Find and kill Acolyte Herren. Loot his key, open his chest, and obtain the Intercepted Note.
   • Note: The chest also contains a random Royal Runed Weapon.
6. [Optional] Pick up Herren's Orders sitting on the ground (lore purposes only).
7. Return to Barsinni and present him with the note for your reward. If you did not give him the journal before, do so now.

Barsinni tells you, "Come closer, friend, you might be able to help me. One of our messengers vanished on the way back from a meeting with some, ah, new associates. He was last seen in a wooded Direlands valley, around 83 W, 54 S. He was bringing back some very important information for us. We must assume he was intercepted. Find him, but most importantly, find the information he was bringing back to us!"

Barsinni tells you, "The betraying bastards. How dare they double-cross us on our own double-cross! The information we gave them was valid, but incomplete. The ritual will fail catastrophically without Count Dardante there to guide their clumsy efforts! Those fools of the Raven Hand may have doomed us all!"
Barsinni calms himself down and looks steadily at you.
Barsinni tells you, "Very well. Preparations must be made. We will all be terribly busy in the coming days, I am sure. I must reward you for your loyal service."
