The quest begins in [[Sawato]] with [[Sergeant Huang]]. You can easily reach Sawato by heading to [[Shoushi]] and taking the [[Kryst]] portal just outside the town walls on the northeastern side. Then, run to [[Umbral Halls]] (30+) at 75.8S 83.1E. Upon entry, turn around and enter the southern hallway. A portal to Sawato is the first portal on the left.

Once you talk to [[Sergeant Huang]] you can then head out to the Unfriendly Barkeep at 25.3S, 56.6E in a building in the middle of the swamp. Before you talk to him put on the bandit mask that Huang gave you. He will think you are a recruit and let you go in the trap door behind the bar.

Inside you will find the [[Sawato Bandit]]s (level 155). You need to kill 15 bandits in order to enter the Ringleader's Chamber portal.  If you are a warrior it is easiest to fight the bandits through doors when possible. Avoid fighting them in large groups if you are at or just over level 100. And be careful of the bandits wielding Hollow Crossbows.

When you have killed 15 bandits, head to the Ringleader's Chamber. The ringleader, while still named simply "Sawato Bandit" has more health and wears a white Chiran suit. Kill the leader and take from his corpse the [[Sawato Bandit's Ledger]]. Take the Sawato portal in the Ringleader's chamber for a quick way back to Sergeant Haung.

Walk Through

  1. From Sawato, run to Sergeant Huang at 28.9S, 59.3E and speak with him to receive a Sawato Bandit's Mask.
  2. Now put on your Sawato Bandit's Mask and speak to the Unfriendly Barkeeper at 25.3S, 56.6E.
  3. Go outside behind the Bar and look for the Trap Door. Use it to portal into the Sawato Bandit's Hideout.
  4. Once inside, you must kill 15 Sawato Bandits to complete your task.
    You have killed 15 Sawato Bandits! Your task is complete!
  5. Once you've completed the task, you're flagged to enter the Ringleader's Chambers, located in the East wing of the dungeon.
  6. From the drop, locate the Sawato Bandit to the south. Kill him and loot the Sawato Bandit's Ledger from his corpse.
  7. Return the Sawato Bandit's Ledger to Sergeant Huang for a Old Footlocker Key, which opens the Old Footlocker, nearby.
  8. Hand unwanted items back to Huang for experience rewards.

Sergeant Huang tells you, "Take this mask, I believe it will allow you to infiltrate the Bandit's hideout. Their hideout can be found near 25.6S 56.5E. Talk to the Barkeeper there, our intelligence leads us to believe he acts as some sort of door man."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "Gain access to the base of these bandits and bring me back any information you may find about their activities in this region."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "May you be guided by the Four Stones of Jojii."

Unfriendly Barkeeper tells you, "I don't think I have seen you around these parts before... You must be one of those new recruits."
