Training Academy

General

New characters begin inside the Training Academy. The academy is an interactive tutorial for Asheron's Call, designed to familiarise players with the basic game mechanics and also give them starter experience, weapons, armor and other equipment.

• During the The First Strike event, the Training Academy was introduced to take the place of the now retired Training Halls tutorial.
• During the Throne of Destiny event, the Exploration Society took over the academy and most of the NPCs were replaced with Society members. Some of the quests were changed also resulting in some items being retired. See below for more details of the original Training Academy quest.
• During the Throne of Destiny event, the level 1-5 training hall/academy portals were removed:
  • Holtburg West Training Academy - 42.3N, 30.6E
  • Holtburg South Training Academy - 39.3N, 33.4E
  • Shoushi West Training Academy - 33.7S, 69.7E
  • Shoushi Southeast Training Academy - 36.7S, 76.0E
  • Yaraq North Training Academy - 18.7S, 1.7W
  • Yaraq East Training Academy - 21.5S, 1.3E
• During the Reforging the Past event, the academy was updated with a Guide to Chat and the Teleportation Device.
