Training Cestus
Value: 25 50 Burden Units
A basic cestus forged in the Strathelar Training Academy. This item can be used on an item hook. Use Oil of Rendering on this weapon to create an Academy Cestus. Skill: Heavy Weapons (Unarmed Combat) Damage: 4 - 8, Bludgeoning Speed: Fast (25) Bonus to Melee Defense: +5%

Given to players starting with Unarmed trained (pre-Master of Arms) or to Sho and Shadow characters with Heavy Weapons trained.
Can be upgraded to an Academy Cestus with Oil of Rendering.
During the Master of Arms patch, the skill was changed from Unarmed to Heavy Weapons and the damage upped from 0.75 - 3 to 4 - 8.
