New UI and Game Changes

  • Gaerlan's Elemental hordes are no longer found on the landscape.
  • Combat
    • Critical hit messages now display in the chat window.
  • Loot
    • Certain thrown weapons--such as throwing axes, clubs, daggers, djarids, darts, javelins, and shokens--will no longer appear as treasure. These weapons are now found at the 9 Nexus town Bowyers.
    • Chests that require a Sturdy Iron Key to open should now provide slightly better treasure. Chests that provide level 7 scrolls, and require a Sturdy Iron Key, are unaffected by this change.

Martine and Gaerlan duel it out in the floating citadel.
The sky is split by the sound of thunder. Gaerlan's Citadel rocks under the force of a great assault. As the fury subsides, two voices are carried across the world.
Gaerlan says, "Insolence. How dare you enter my citadel?"
Martine says, "I am here to exact my vengeance, and make amends for what I have done."
Asheron appears at the site where Gaerlan's Citadel crashed and gives players Imbued Pyreal Nuggets for use in the Ziggurat dungeons.
Elysa Strathelar appears in Yanshi where portals have opened to the Elemental Crystal dungeons and the Harbinger.
In the ruins of Yanshi, a portal has opened. High Queen Elysa Strathelar awaits those that would enter within the wreckage of the once proud town.
  • Golem Lords and other Elemental creatures attack each of the towns.
