The History of Auberean, part 3
By A Learned Sage
Hello, there. Bet you thought I'd never get these completed! What? Ah, some of you don't even know what I'm talking about, do you? Tsk! You must not have been attending! I've at last completed the two final volumes, IV and V, so we're now up to date - but in case you haven't read the earlier ones, they're still available, too. Did I hear you ask "What volumes?" Why, the volumes of history I've been compiling, of course! Did you check your wits at the door? I've included some new material on Tumerok history this time - although, of course, that's not what they call themselves. It's best if you try to think of them as Tonk - especially when dealing with them directly. Honestly, just think how you'd feel if someone called you something other than Isparian, after all. What a fascinating culture, though! Such reverence for sound, among other things...
What's that, you say? Getting off-track, am I? Well, it's in the name of learning - and that's what being a scholar of lore's all about, really. Perhaps the rest will have to wait for it's own volume...a history of the Tonks. Yes, yes...that would be fun!
Speaking of volumes, these last two works have really given me time to reflect. So many cultures in our tiny land these days - it's no wonder everyone's had such troubles adjusting. And the Virindi!
Well, I'll let you read about it - no sense in babbling on and on about it here...
