Olthoi Brood Matron

Quest Overview

A quest to get a one-piece full covering undergarment, with various spells depending on which hive Matron item is handed in - top tier item has double major cantrips.

Walk Through

1. Head to one of the Matron Hives (See Below). All four of the Matron Hives have the same layout.
2. From the drop head north down the ramp ignoring the first two turns. At the T section go left and continue north through two acid pits until you come to a room with the Olthoi Brood Matron.
3. Kill the Matron and take the trophy it drops (different for each dungeon).
4. Return the trophy to the Olthoi Hunter near Arwic at 30.9N, 56.3E.

TIP: If you are a ranged or spellcasting character and have sufficient jumping skill, you can stand on top of the mushrooms in the queen's room to avoid all melee damage.

Notes

• During the Into the Darkness event, each of the Raiments received upgraded spells.
• During the Visions in the Darkness event, the upper level restrictions were removed from each of the four matron hives.
• During the From Darkness, Light event, the quest was rebalanced for higher level ranges of 40+, 60+, 90+, and 120+. Experience rewards were added.
