Turbine Announcements

This was the elemental invasion patch. All landscape creatures were medium to high level elementals. Many regard this one as one of the worst in AC history. Outdoor hunting was extremely difficult for any new players.

Atonement Video Teaser

Gaerlan attempts to raise the Harbinger using Nuhmudira as a vessel but fails due to her prior escape. The energy from the failed summoning destroys the town of Yanshi. Meanwhile Borelean goes to Martine and convinces him to save Asheron.

Town Crier tells you, "Things have been too quiet since Yanshi was leveled. What does this mean?"

Town Crier tells you, "I saw a warrior wearing upper leg armor! What a great invention! She said the name for the armor was "Tassets". Funny name, I thought, but I'm going to get me a set!"

New Quests

Live Events

• 2002/08 - The Elemental Cisterns - Between August 17th and September 16th, level restricted portal to the Cistern Cores appeared in different towns. The final dungeon to the Lightning Core was PK restricted and players got to choose whether to help Gaerlan and defend the core, or work with the attackers to destroy it. The attacking team included dev controlled characters such as Martine, Elysa, Lord Kresovus and Aun Hareltah.

At Dryreach a portal into the Heart of the Lightning Cistern has opened.

Updated Quests

• Hollow Weapons Quest - Deadly daggers, staves and katars can now be created. Increased damage on all weapons.
• Ravenous Weapons Quest - Can now be upgraded to create Phantom Weapons.
