* The [[Master Armorers]] were murdered during the [[To Raise a Banner of Flame]] event and unable to create the armor at its original strength.
* During the [[Fever Dreams]] event, the armorers returned to their former health and could once again create the armor at its original AL albeit different in other ways.
* To receive the earlier post-patch GSA hand the armor piece you would like exchanged back to Koga.
* Post Patch GSA has no wield requirements, lower AL and cannot be [[Sharded Shadow Armor Quest|sharded]] nor [[Dyed Greater Shadow Armor|dyed]]. It can, however, be improved with [[Atlan Stones]].
