Quest Overview

A band of Hea Tumeroks hunts on the Marescent Plateau. Among this party is Hea Temenua, who carries the bow formerly used by the infamous archer, Lilitha. Kill Temenua and obtain the two parts of the bow, which can be recombined.

Walk Through

1. Find Hea Temenua on the Marescent Plateau. He is a rare spawn and is found with a number of other Hea Tumeroks including Hea Karenua and Hea Kanokeh.
2. Kill Temenua and loot the two components of the bow on his corpse: the Greenwood Haft and the Gromnie Sinew Bowstring.
   • Optional: Hea Karenua drops the Awakener and 4 Karenua's Keys.
3. Combine the Greenwood Haft and the Gromnie Sinew Bowstring to produce the Sublime Elari Wood Bow (Bow Skill Check).
   • Bow skill of 320 gives a 50/50 chance of success. If it breaks you have to wait 20 hours to try again with new parts.
4. If you want the older Exquisite Elari Wood Bow then hand the Sublime Elari Wood Bow to Aun Ngationa in Timaru. You can then hand the Exquisite Bow back to Aun Ngationa if you want the Sublime Bow back.

As the drum-speaker Hea Kanokeh falls, the Nualuan warriors of Temenua's party lose heart, and quickly leave the field of battle.

Temenua coolly assesses [Player Name], and announces, "By the authority granted me by Hea Arantah, I must declare you a trespasser in these Hea lands of Palenqual. Remove from here or die. It is one to me."

Hea Temenua says, "Bah."

Hea Temenua says, "I will walk where the paths the atual arutoa point me toward."
Hea Temenua says, "I will take comfort in the protection of the atual arutoa."
Hea Temenua says, "Karenua? Some help."

Temenua glances down at the hole that now graces his chest, courtesy of [Player Name]. "Hm," he says, almost offhandedly, as he fingers the edge of the wound. "You were the better. Well played. I pray Tonk will allow me to face you again some day." With this, he carefully lays himself down on the earth, and dies.

You attempt to flex the bow for restringing, but it leaps from your weak grip with a loud twang. Both the string and haft have snapped!

• During the Pillars Made of Sand event, the Sublime Elari Wood Bow was introduced.
• During the From the Darkness Born event, the Bow Specialised activation requirement was removed from the Sublime Elari Wood Bow.
