Footnotes are useful for providing sources for statements made in articles. On Asheron.info these are most useful on lore articles written by players.

  1. . At the bottom of the article, create a section titled References.
  2. . List your references using the # symbol. Most sources will be links to internal pages - items, quests, texts, and so on. Simply create the link with bracets ([[ ]]) and if possible, provide the date and patch when the source was introduced.
  3. . To create a footnote, use the following code and replace n with the correct number:

 [[ {{PAGENAME}}#References | <nowiki>[</nowiki> n <nowiki>]</nowiki> ]]

(For exact code, edit and copy this section:)

References Section Example:

== References ==
# yyyy/mm [[Patch]] - [[Item 1]]
# yyyy/mm [[Patch]] - [[Item 2]]
# yyyy/mm [[Patch]] - [[Item 3]]
