Quest Overview

Collect Infused Amber Shards at the Viridian Rise and exchange them for random rewards. This quest is akin to the Corrupted Amber Collection quest which is found inside the Viridian Root dungeon in the same area.

Walk Through

1. Go to the Viridian Rise. You must complete the Access to the Viridian Rise quest in order to get inside.
2. Collect Infused Amber Shards. There are several ways to get them.
   • Kill and loot creatures in the forest. The shards can be randomly found in loot.
   • Loot 5 Viridian Essences from creatures in the forest and exchange them for 1 shard at a crystal in the forest. The crystals appear to spawn randomly. Note that you lose all your essences when moving to a new area of the forest.
   • Complete the 3 kill tasks related to the Viridian Rise. See the Viridian Rise page for more information.
   • Kill a rare boss in the forest and turn in its essence at the Deru Tree. See Viridian Rise Rare Bosses for more information.
   • Complete the Climbing the Viridian Deru Tree quest at the Deru Tree. This appears to be a once per character quest.
3. Once you have 100, go to the Viridian Deru Tree and give them to Kervim'telek for a random reward.
   • Note: If you do not like what you receive, some items can be handed back for a seemingly random number of Infused Amber Shards.
