The treasure system has undergone several overhauls during the history of Asheron's Call. Currently there are seven loot tiers, with an eighth to be added sometime in the first half of 2008. Below is a table roughly outlining the characteristics of each tier. There is some overlap between tiers, the probability of higher stats increases the higher the tier. Take these numbers with a grain of salt, they are not based on an authoritative source, rather from guess work on what Turbine has said and interpolating what they haven't. Nevertheless, since we do not have loot tier numbers for each creature from a definitive source either it's a closed loop regarding accuracy. Another related concept is the Quality Flag for some special areas.
