Walk Through

Note

You need to have been flagged to enter Bur for the Enhanced Mucor. Also required, but not needed to have access, someone with a high Alchemy, and a high Weapon Tinkering or Magic Item Tinkering Skill.

Quick Walk Through

  • Get Enhanced Mucor by doing the Enhancing Mucor Quest
  • Give the Enhanced Mucor to a high skilled alchemist
  • Use an Alembic on the Enhanced Mucor to create Alembic Mucor (450 Alch skill gives 50% chance, you might want to use a rare): + =
  • Use the Alembic Mucor on the type of salvage of your choice (Mahogany for missile, Granite for melee and opal for magic) to create for example Mucor-altered Mahogany. Kuurak in Kor-Gursha has a list of what kind of salvage to use for what.
There seems to be no skill check involved, and the used salvage is not spent:

  • Dobblar in Kor-Gursha sells the weapons on which you can use the altered salvage, such as the Bone Bow
  • Find a high skilled weapon tinkerer for the melee and missile weapons, or a high Magic Item Tinkerer for the magic caster.
  • Apply the altered salvage on one of the bought weapons, for example the bow, to create a mucor enhanced weapon such as the Channeling Bone Bow. (98% chance with a buffed weapon tink skill of 681 (without rares)).

Lore & Dialog

You distill the mucor into a thick bluish liquid

As you apply the mucor-altered mahogany carefully, you feel the bow warm in your hands. As you finish your task, you perceive that the bow is now much more magical than it was
