Greetings, traveler! If you've found this towel, no doubt something unfortunate has happened to me, because we all know that only under the most dire circumstances would part a traveler from his trusty towel. It wouldn't be the first time, certainly, that something unacceptably rude has happened to me since I started traveling with F.P.

In any case, please return this towel to an Explorer's Society agent. They can be located in Shoushi, Yanshi, Nanto, Yaraq, al-Arqas, Samsur, Lytelthorpe, Rithwic, and Holtburg. I'm sure those nice chaps will come up with a nice and useful keepsake for you.

In gratitude,

-- A.D.

Note

  • The towels that were added in the June 2001 Chains of Command event were done so in memory of the author Douglas Adams, who wrote the book, [The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy], and who died May 2001. The author A.D. refers to Arthur Dent, the main character in the book. F.P. in the text refers to Ford Prefect, another character in that book.
