Quest Overview

Upgrade a weapon of your choice by completing the 50 challenges of Summercrown.

• Warning: You must talk to Summercrown before handing him 100 Infused Amber Shards for the 1st challenge. If not, your quest will not advance, and you will lose your Infused Amber Shards. This is a known bug that may be fixed.
• The Token of the New Paragon can be used to reset your progress, allowing you to start at the 1st challenge again. This is useful if you would like to start on a new weapon rather than taking your first one to maximum level.

Walk Through

1. Make your way to the Deru Tree of the Viridian Rise.
2. Talk to Summercrown to receive a challenge and complete it. It is unknown if the challenges are random.
   • (1) Give 100 Infused Amber Shard to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 1st Tier Paragon.
   • (2) Defeat the Advanced Colosseum Arena and return to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 2nd Paragon
   • (3) Complete Aerbax's Citadel and return the mask shard to receive a Luminous Amber of the 3rd Tier Paragon.
   • (4) Forfiet 200,000 Luminance to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 4th Tier Paragon.
   • (5) Give 100 Infused Amber Shard to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 5th Tier Paragon.
   • (6) Kill Tchk'Tain the Tender and bring his head to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 6th Tier Paragon
   • (7) Forfiet 1000 A'nekshay Token's to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 7th Tier Paragon.
   • (8) Complete Slave Master Quest and return to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 8th Paragon
   • (9) Forfiet 200,000 Luminance to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 9th Tier Paragon.
   • (10) Give 100 Infused Amber Shard to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 10th Tier Paragon.
   • (11) Obtain Lord Cynreft Mhoire's Signet Ring from the Lord Mhoire quest and return it to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 11th Paragon
   • (12) Forfiet 1000 Ancient Mhoire Coin's to Summercrown to receive a Luminous Amber of the 12th Tier Paragon.
   • (?) Obtain Daimyo Idah's Tattered Mask from Daimyo Idah.

Summercrown tells you, "Your next task is simple. Travel to the Colosseum, defeat it, and return to me."
Summercrown tells you, "Don't worry about those challenges that exist alongside the actual Colosseum. This challenge is only for the timed arena."

2nd Tier Paragon

You hand over 1 of your Aerbax Mask Shards.
Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 3rd Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "Your next challenge is one of empowerment. To continue infusing magics into the Paragon Gems, I will need an infusion of Luminance from you."

4th Tier Paragon
You feel a surge of energy pass through you as the Luminace flows from you into Summercrown.
Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 4th Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "I am running low on Infused Amber with which to forge your gems. Your next task is to bring me 100 Infused Ambers, so we may continue."

5th Tier Paragon
Summercrown tells you, "These will do nicely, thank you. They should empower the rituals for a while to come."
Summercrown tells you, "Now, for your efforts, this is for you."
You hand over 100 of your Infused Amber Shards.
Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 5th Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "On far Freebooter Isle, there is an old Deru. It has come under attack by one of the corrupted Sclavi, known as Tchk'Tain the Tender. Find him, slay him, and bring his head."
Summercrown tells you, "Be warned, he is an elusive one, and sometimes difficult to find. Patience will be your ally in hunting him."
