yes I believe 2nd place is a mukkir. They said in the contest they are allowed to tweak the design, which would explain the looks. But it fits in because it was added in a later update. And I seem to remember a dev saying that the eater and the 2rd place creature is not the basis for eaters, its just a coincidence.--An Adventurer 16:19, 26 May 2008 (CDT)
Second place looks similar to a Mukkir (also would have a relation to the Spear in the picture). Could they be related but the information just never released?
