Quest Overview

A use for Pyreal Motes was found early in the game - combine them into a weapon!

Walk Through

Step 1: Creating the Pyreal Ingot

1. You will need the equivalent of 16 Pyreal Motes to create a weapon. See below for some good places to Golems for their motes.
2. Combine 2 Pyreal Motes to create a Pyreal Sliver:
   • + =
3. Combine 2 Pyreal Slivers to create a Pyreal Nugget:

4. Combine 2 Pyreal Nuggets to create a Pyreal Bar:

5. Combine 2 Pyreal Bars to create a Quality Pyreal Ingot (Alchemy Skill Check):

Step 2: Forging the Atlan Weapon at Crater Lake Village

1. Head to Crater Lake Village and purchase the appropriate glyph from Silencia the Archmage at 64.8N 13.4E.
   • Route: From Glenden Wood, take the Highland Manors settlement portal at 63.2N, 16.9E. Run southwest to the Crater Pathway dungeon at 60.6N, 15.7E and when inside take all ramps up to the surface portal that exits at Crater Lake Village.
2. Apply the glyph to your Quality Pyreal Ingot (Weapon skill check) to create a Superb Infused Ingot:
   • + =
3. Hand your Superb Infused Ingot to Silencia's Magma Golem and he will give you an Atlan Weapon of the same type as the stamp you used.
   • Note - If the alchemy check or the weapon check fails, you may end up with a less-than-peerless weapon with different stats.

Step 3: Upgrading your Weapon

1. Once you have your weapon it can then be upgraded using Major Atlan Stones.
   • Note: You remove Atlan Stones from the weapon by using the Stone Tool.

Notes

• During the same month this quest was introduced it was possible to get a unique Shadow Stone in The Gauntlet (now retired).
• In the To Raise a Banner of Flame event, a new Black Fire Atlan Stone became available.
• In the Heart of Woe event, the following changes were made to this quest:
  • Peerless weapons now have +7% Melee Defense and +7% Attack
  • Superior weapons now have +5% Melee Defense and +5% Attack
  • Requirements removed from Major stones
  • Timer changed to 1 hour for stones
  • New weapon spells and the vulnerability spells have been removed
  • Stones and tool no longer attuned and bonded
  • Black Fire Weapons are now Ivoryable
• In the Gears of Change event, it became possible to forge two-handed spear weapons.
• In the The Risen Princess event, this quest received a major update:
