- For a history of this dungeon see Bound Book.
- This is one of the POIs indicated on the Ingame Map. See Points of Interest Map, no. 65/
- You will need the Golden Key and Le-Ai Rea's Key to reach the Beyond the Mines of Despair portal.
- During the Lonely In The World event, the mines were updated with new creatures, the inactive Focusing Stone and the upper level restriction was also removed (was 14-22).
- During the Rekindling the Light event, the Empyrean Sun Stone was added to the dungeon.
