Radar
The radar is located in the upper-right corner of the screen. Its position can vary depending on whether you have a panel open and if you have enabled the stretch UI option.
The Radar displays your heading, your field of view, and information about objects around you in the form of colored dots.
Radar Dots
- White - A Non Player Killer, a fellow player.
- Yellow - A Non Player Character, or NPC.
- Orange - A Creature that can be attacked.
- Purple - A portal.
- Blue - A lifestone.
- Red - A Player Killer.
- Pink - Formerly used for Sentinels, the pink dot is now used to show a Player Killer-Lite.
- Green - A member of your Fellowships. A triangle pointing up is the fellowship leader. A triangle pointing down is any other member.
- Light Blue - Formerly used for Advocates, the light blue dot is now used to show a Turbine-controlled Envoy or any other special character controlled by Turbine employees.
If the color of a dot is slightly dimmed, that indicated that the object in question is above or below you.
In addition to the dots white, pink and red dots will show up as a hollow square instead if the player is in your allegiance. Hostile players will show up as an X if you are also a player killer and they are not in your allegiance.
Notes
- In Keep Your Enemies Closer, an option was added to display a player's coordinates below the radar.
- In Fever Dreams, other members of a player's allegiance were changed to show up as squares instead of circles on the radar.
- In Persuasion, the radar was updated to display all creatures in the vicinity regardless of whether they are moving or not.
- In Castling, leaders of a fellowship now display as triangles on the radar.
- In Visions in the Darkness, the charge radius was removed (red circle in the center of the radar).
