A spell stacks when its effects are additive to the effects of another spell that affects the same attribute, skill, or life protection. All creature spells cast by a Player do not stack, rather the more powerful will override the less powerful spell. Cantrips range from minor to epic and stack with creature spells. There are also a number spells that stack with most other spells. Each skill, attribute, and life protection page has detailed information regarding which spells overide which others, and which spells stack with which others. (In Progress)

Life Protections

Note that life protections that stack aren't applied in parallel, they are applied in series. For example, if two spells that stack are in effect, one that reduces damage by 65% and one that reduces damage by 15%, the total reduction is not 80%, it is 72%.
