This weapon seems like a simple katar, available from any smith in the Gharu'n lands, but the strange spells and black smoke that flow from the blade mark it as a creation of a malevolent, alien intelligence. It seems to suck in the life-force of those it wounds, and its blade shivers with unstable power. Special Properties: Unenchantable, Dropped on Death, Crushing Blow, Biting Strike, Resistance Cleaving: Slashing, Cast on Strike Damage: 20 - 40 (31 - 62), Slashing Speed: Fast (15) (0) Uses Unarmed Combat Skill Bonus to Attack Skill: +40% (+57%) Casts the following spells: Drain Health Other III, Atlan's Alacrity, Hamud's Boon, Major Unarmed Aptitude, Infected Caress, Elysa's Sight Spellcraft: 500 Mana: 10000 Mana Cost: 1 point per 30 seconds. Spell Descriptions: Drain Health Other III (Drains 25% of the target's Health and gives 133% of it to the caster.) Atlan's Alacrity (Improves a weapon's speed by 70 points.) Hamud's Boon (Increases the target's Unarmed Combat skill by 40 points.) Major Unarmed Aptitude (Increases the target's Unarmed Combat skill by 15 points. Additional spells can be layered over this.) Infected Caress (Increases a weapon's damage value by 22 points.) Elysa's Sight (Increases a weapon's Attack Skill modifer by 17.0 percentage points.)
