This is an item set bonus that is found on most Rare Armor following the Shedding Skin update (see Heroic Destroyer Set for the weapon set variation). Armor can be leveled 50 times at 2 billion per level. Wield the armor while completing quests or handing in xp items to earn xp in addition to hunting.

Note: Wielding multiple rare armor pieces with this item set cause the spells to combine to higher levels. For example wielding one L12 piece gives Damage Reduction II, wielding two L12 pieces improves it to IV, wielding three pieces improves it to VII (as well as the other spells). In other words it appears to add all the individual item levels and use that total to determine the spells to apply.
