Canfeld River

A major river in Aluvia, sometimes also referred to as the Canfield River.

The Canfeld is birthed in the ancient granite of the Luparvium Mountains, which divides the bright fields and verdant woods of Aluvia from the gloomy moors of Milantos. Along the verdant shores of the River lie the great forests of Aluvia. These forests provide Ispar with the vast majority of its building lumber.

It languidly flows, deep and slow, to the Ironsea. Landings for merchant craft from the Ironsea line the banks in Celdon, and the riverside areas are known for their color, noise, and exotic wares. Because of its origin in the mountains, the river became a mass of raw torrents in spring, when the snow melted.
