Use this template for individual lore character pages, copy and paste the wiki code into the page and fill in the character's information. If at all possible use an in game screen shot that is 300x400 pixels and append "Live" to the name. For example, Nuhmudira Live.jpg. If using a 300x400 stats panel, use the creature name, e.g. Nuhmudira.jpg.
Notes
- Please use references when giving information about the character. See Citing Sources in a Lore Article
- Use the related template for references to the Character also being ingame as a creature or a npc
- It is often difficult to determine if a Character available ingame as a npc or a creature should get a separate lore entry
- Rules of thumb:
- If not available ingame constantly, use the lore template
- If only available ingame, and seldomly or never as a background or live event character (for example, because of being an author of texts), use the creature or npc template, and add entries for "author of" to the Lore or Notes section of that template and/or add categories
- If the character has changed roles and from NPC became lore character, became creature (for example Commander Jared Kurth), make different entries and use the related template.
- If possible, try to segment the "Character and Background" section in chronological order, for example sections referring tos.
- For the main Character image, try to use Concept art (Name Image.jpg) if available. Other images, for example live shots, can be inserted in the Images section
- Dates can be used for quick references to important events
- Related can be used for links to other lore characters
- For the Categories, use Major Character for characters which have played a major role in for example Story Arcs or History. Other Characters, for example those which have only been authors of certain texts, use Minor Character
- If known, categorize the Character for its origins (for example Isparian, Empyrean, Mosswart, Drudge, Virindi) and heritage (for example Aluvian, Sho, Viamontian, Milantan, Dericostian, Falatacot, Haebrean, Yalaini)
