Lord Marden was a loyal retainer to the King and had hosted many tournaments in the King's honor.[1].
During one of those tournaments, his son, Darren di Marden was killed by his rival, Prince Renlen, youngest son of King Varicci di Corcosi. [1]. This death was avenged by Eleonora du Bellenesse during another tournament.[2].
