Q: Keth al-Sheth asks:
Lady Adja, it says her grandmother fled from the Ice Throne and gave Alaidain the secret way into Sarvien's palace. Only 3 generations of her family had passed in the 6,500 years or so since the fall of the Ice Throne. This seems longer than the normal Empyrean life span, I think the 7th Yalain Emperor was ruling during the Shadow War. Was her family especially long lived or were other practices involved?
A: Maila used this as an example of the preservative spells Adja's family knew. Adja's grandmother was exceptionally long- lived.
