Dirty Old Crates are a type of a landscape chest. They are always accompanied with a group of Tumeroks. These crates contain a single piece of a battered or worn weapon. They never contain any other loot. They are unlocked, and upon emptying the crate, they will disappear. There are two varieties of crates:
- The first kind appears in mid level areas of Osteth (the orange and green areas of the map to the right). They contain pieces for Battered weapons, and are guarded by High Tumeroks and a Tumerok Priest.
- The second kind appears in the northwestern region of Osteth and the Direlands (the blue and red areas of the map). They contain pieces for Worn weapons, and are guarded by Tumerok Taskmasters.
