A Lucky Gold Letter

Quest Overview

"We have contacted residents of six cities located in Osteth. These residents have agreed to don the green cap and robes of the Agents of the Society. They have hidden their official town stamp in dungeons near each of their towns. Find the Town Stamp and use it on your Red or Gold Letter. This will create a Stamped Red or Gold Letter, marked with the name of the town whose stamp you used. Take this Stamped Letter to one of the Agents and exchange it for a reward."

Walk Through

1. Complete the Facility Hub Quests line to receive your Book of Quests for Young Explorers. The book lists what stamped letters you need and what agent to hand them to to receive the items you want (see also table of rewards below).
2. The town stamps are obtained during the following quests:
   • The Old Warehouse for the Rithwic stamp
   • The Writings of Jhong Mi for the Yanshi stamp
   • Abandoned Shops Quest for the Al-Arqas stamp
   • Lost Distillery Quest for the Lytelthorpe stamp
   • Musansayn's Library for the Samsur stamp
   • Water for Ji Ra Ping for the Nanto stamp
3. You will need Scarlet Red Letters for the Amateur Explorer equipment and Lucky Gold Letters for the better, and Attuned, Seasoned Explorer equipment. The letters are dropped by many creatures including those found in the quest dungeons.
4. Once you have your stamped letter, take it back to one of the Society Agents to be rewarded with a piece of equipment.

   You stamp your Lucky Gold [Town Name] Letter. It is now ready to take to an Agent of the Society.

5. You can use the Explorer Weapon Gems found beside each agent to change your weapon cast into either a Finesse, Light or Heavy weapon type.

   You place the Heavy Weapons Gem into the Dagger Cast.

Notes

• In the A Perfect Paradox event, atlatls became available by handing the bow back to a society agent.
• In Discoveries event, the society and explorer wands were updated with new spells, icons and artwork.
• In Waking From the Abyss event, the following changes were made:
  • The society and explorer armor sets lost the old store bought leather look and now have unique styles.
  • Both types of armor gained a creature or life spell and an increase in AL from 60 to 100.
  • Society armor was also updated with Impenetrability II and the explorer armor spells were increased to level III.
  • Each of the weapons were updated with higher base damage and new icons.
  • The society weapons were also updated with mastery spells and the explorer weapon spells were increased to level III.
  • Society jewelry was added and the spells found on explorer jewelry were increased from level II to III.
• In From the Darkness Born event, both types of weapon were updated with increased damage, blood drinker spells and the Biting Strike property.
• In The Risen Princess event, this quest received a major update (See here for all old rewards):
  • Letters now dropped by higher level creatures.
  • Former starter town stamp quests updated.
  • Stamped letter rewards all updated.
  • Stamps are now reusable.
  • Holtburg, Shoushi and Yaraq stamps removed.
