Walk Through
- Travel to the 83.2N, 54.6W - Ruschk Camp located at on Vanguard Isle. You can run from Eastwatch or it's a shorter run from the Abhorrent Vault (90+ Eaters).
- Speak to the Camp Blacksmith in one of the tents. (The other NPC is part of the Lunum quest). There are two chests in the tent with the Blacksmith, Metalworking Supplies and Leatherworking Supplies.
- If you have lockpick you can pick the two chests in the tent with the blacksmith, if not do as he instructs and kill the Leaders in the two camps at 85.3N 55.0W - Ruschk Camp and 84.5N 53.2W - Ruschk Camp who drop keys to the chests. Note: The keys both have five uses.
- Once you have the Fine Metal Scraps and Fine Leather Scraps from the chests, give them to the Camp Blacksmith who will reward you with xp and the Squalid Shield.

Camp Blacksmith tells you, "The Ruschk keep their best materials in these two chests, but they don't trust me with the key. If you could retrieve the keys from the other two camps and open these chests, I'm sure we could find some nice materials in there to work with."
Camp Blacksmith tells you, "Check the two costal camps to the north and northeast of here. I'll be waiting."
You give Camp Blacksmith Fine Metal Scraps.
Camp Blacksmith tells you, "Excellent! These are some fine materials. I think I might be able to craft a nice reward for you. See if you can get into the other chest. I bet the materials in there would help us out."
