Quest Overview
Help protect Lord Asheron's Portalspace devices from the an offshoot of the Virindi called the 'Apostates'. Kill 30 virindi in any of three locations to earn a house decoration.
Walk Through
Note: You do not need to do all three locations, you receive the same device at all three so you can just do the location appropriate to your level if you wish.
- Talk to the Emissary of Asheron (Neydisa Castle) in Neydisa Castle at 69.6N, 17.6E near the Town Network portal.
- Head to 84.8N, 17.6E.
- Route: Take the Pavanne Vale Freehold Portal at 66.3N, 14.3E near Crater Village.
- Alt Route: Use a Portal Gem to Celdiseth (86.6N, 21.6E) and run to 84.8N, 17.6E.
- Kill 30 Apostate Virindi Aggressors (Level 90).
- Use An Empyrean Device to obtain a Faintly Glowing Data Crystal.
- Return to Neydisa and hand in the Data Crystal for some xp and the Empyrean Portalspace Stabilizer.
- Talk to the Emissary of Asheron (Ayan Baqur) in Ayan Baqur at 60.0S 88.0W by the statue.
- Head to 65.9S, 85.1W near Ayan.
- Kill 30 Apostate Virindi Aggressors (Level 140).
- Use An Empyrean Device to obtain a Glowing Data Crystal.
- Back to Ayan Baqur, and hand in the Data Crystal for some xp and another Empyrean Portalspace Stabilizer.
- Talk to the Emissary of Asheron (Freebooter) on Freebooter Isle.
- Head to 60.0S, 98.4E on the island.
- Kill 30 Apostate Virindi Aggressors (Level 220).
- Use An Empyrean Device to obtain a Brightly Glowing Data Crystal.
- Back to the Emissary, and hand in the Data Crystal for some xp and another Empyrean Portalspace Stabilizer.
- Note: If you use any of the three Devices before killing 30 Virindi, two Apostate Rift Aggressors of an appropriate level will spawn near the device.

As you touch the device, a humming begins to build up. At the point where the humming gets too loud to bear, a crystal forms in your hand.

You hand over 1 of your Glowing Data Crystals.
Emissary of Asheron tells you, "It seems these Apostate Virindi are the cause of the disturbances, but there is not enough data here to answer why."
Emissary of Asheron tells you, "It will take about a week for the device to collect enough data to give me more information. Come back then if you wish to further aid my Lord Asheron."
