Drifter's Atlatl Value: 50,000 400 Burden Units A superbly carved atlatl, whittled from Tusker ivory. Such atatls are utilitarian in nature and meant to be a means of protection while traveling. It looks like the person who made this atlatl had started to carve a hole to turn it into a pipe, before realizing that would make it useless as a weapon. The initials "UU" can be seen, carved into the stem. Special Properties: Pierce Rending, Tusker Slayer Skill: Missile Weapons (Thrown) Damage Bonus: 0 Elemental Damage Bonus: 15, Piercing Damage Modifier: +190% Speed: ?? Range: 65 yds Uses atlatl darts as ammunition. Bonus to Melee Defense: +18% Casts the following spells: Incantation of Person Attunement Self, Incantation of Swift Killer, Incantation of Rejuvenation Self, Incantation of Thrown Weapons Mastery Self, Epic Missile Weapon Aptitude, Incantation of Defender, Epic Blood Thirst, Incantation of Monster Attunement Self Spellcraft: 350 Mana: 2,000 Mana Cost: 1 point per 30 seconds.

Notes

• In Shedding Skin the stats were improved, including for existing items, see Drifter's Atlatl (Retired) for the old stats. Also no longer drops on death automatically, it can be protected with death items/augmentations.
• The weapon now levels when you gain experience fighting with it and gives bonus spells the higher the level.
