Quest Overview

This is one of the original quests of AC. Thankfully the Hammer of Lightning was updated since then so a low level axe character may find it useful.

Walk Through

• Optional: The rumor Alphus Range Directions, can be purchased in Zaikhal from Barkeeper Ghazi al-Barbasin.

1. From Zaikhal run to the Bellig Tower Base dungeon located at 17.8N, 16.0E.
2. From the drop, take either of the two north passages and go up the ramp.
3. Follow the corridor around to the south exit.
4. At the split, take either of the passages up to another split. Head right here and then left up the long ramp.
5. You should now be on bridge that you can cross to the north exit.
6. Head north and you will start climbing a series of ramps with a room of Golems at each level.
7. Ignoring the Golems keep taking ramps up until you come to a corridor with a side room full of bookshelves.
8. Kill the Revenant in this room and loot the Hammer of Lightning.
   • In the Revenant's lair there is a History Shelf from which you can take the 11 volumes of the History of Dereth.

Notes

• Quest dungeon was filled with more formidable creatures and the Hammer of Lightning was also updated during the A Perfect Paradox event.
• Updated again during the Reforging the Past event, the Hammer of Lightning now has BD IV and the quest can be accessed as one of the new Facility Hub Quests for a 2,850,000 experience reward.
