Quest Overview

  • Bring Carolyn Woron some items of her parents and investigate the reasons behind the Thug Raids.

Walk Through

  1. Go to the Thug Hideout dungeon and pick up Fiona's Charm off the ground. It located in a hallway just beyond the Throne Room.
  • Route: Mayoi to Vesayen Overlook Settlement Portal (60.8S, 80.3E) to the dungeon at 65.8S, 77.2E.
  1. Go to Lin and get Journal of Ries Woron. It is located on a table near the Scribe.
  2. Hand both items to Carolyn Woron and then talk to her again to be portaled into a small cave-like dungeon. You are now reliving past events that happened to Ries and his brother (aka The Unknown Warrior).
    • Note: Only one person can be in the dungeon at a time. If you hand in the items then talk to Carolyn while someone is still doing the quest then she will say you are rude to interrupt. You just have to wait for the process to reset then talk to Carolyn again.
  3. Talk to The Unknown Warrior (he is an NPC) at the top of the dungeon then follow him down and jump into a pit.
  4. Follow him down the left passage where you will see several components of a Gear Knight.
  5. Suddenly many Apostate Hollow Minions, Virindi, and Lugians will spawn and The Unknown Warrior will fall. A portal will open in the right passage from the Pit where you jumped down. It is called "End of the Story".
    • Run at fast as you can to the portal!!! DO NOT TRY AND FIGHT THE APOSTATES!
  6. The portal drops you right in front of Carolyn. Talk to her for your reward.

You give Carolyn Woron Fiona's Charm.
Carolyn Woron tells you, "Oh my mother's charm! You found this where?"
Carolyn Woron tells you, "That can not be by accident, my mother is far too smart for that. She must be trying to tell us there is something to be discovered in that corner of hallway. I will send my friends to investigate this further."
Carolyn Woron tells you, "Thank you ever so much."

You give Carolyn Woron Journal of Ries Woron.
Carolyn Woron tells you, "My father's journal... I didn't even know he had written one."
Carolyn Woron tells you, "Thank you for bringing this to me, and for all the help you have offered my family."

Carolyn Woron tells you, "It is rude to interupt someone in the middle of telling a story."

Carolyn Woron tells you, "You have shown your loyalty to my family and I am thankful for it."
Carolyn Woron tells you, "I think I now owe you in trying to provide a glimpse of how this came to be."
Carolyn Woron tells you, "My father and his brother had heard of a small cave with strange metallic pieces inside."
Carolyn Woron tells you, "Pieces unlike anything seen before."
Carolyn Woron tells you, "So they set out to investigate these rumors."
You start to get so involved in the story you imagine yourself being there.

The Unknown Warrior says, "Over this way I think I see something."
The Unknown Warrior says, "What is this thing? It looks almost like a metallic head. I don't know if I like the looks of this....."
The Unknown Warrior says, "Brother! Get yourself out of here now!"
The Unknown Warrior says, "GO! Do not worry about me, just get yourself out of here!"
