Quest Overview
Walk Through
- Get an Ancient Tablet of the Crystal Amulet (Level 180+). This acts as a contract and drops off of creatures in the City of Neftet.
- Go to the 20.5S, 7.6E - Ancient Portal.
- Route: Run east from Yaraq or use Lost City of Neftet Recall Spell.
- Begin killing the Corrupt Conflagrations inside. They will drop an Corrupted Flame on the floor and the Corrupted Flame will appear as a green flame, the Corrupted Flame can also spawn on the ground by itself.
- The Corrupted Flame will appear as a yellow NPC dot on your minimap.
- "Using" the flames will make them disappear and you will get a message:
- As you reach out to touch the corrupt flames they are cleansed by the energies of the altar.
- There is no counter, but when you have found 20 flames, you will get this message when using the next:
- You reach out to touch the flames but they burn your hand.
- Though the respawn is fast, if you are with a group and in need of more Flames, use the Catacombs portal to another small dungeon with Corrupt Conflagrations
- Once you have found 20 Corrupted Flames, use the Altar of the Green Crystal inside the dungeon to receive the Amulet of the Green Crystal.
- Return the Amulet to Bemeth the Gatherer.

Lore & Dialog
You use the writings of the ancient tablet to open this portal.
This ancient altar has remained undisturbed for eons. It is covered with strange symbols.
- Message "using" a Corrupted Flame
As you reach out to touch the corrupt flames they are cleansed by the energies of the altar.
- Message using the Altar of the Green Crystal before "collecting" 20 flames
As if sensing you have not yet cleansed 20 flames in this place the altar remains still and quiet.
- Message when having used 20 Flames:
You reach out to touch the flames but they burn your hand.
Altar of the Green Crystal gives you Amulet of Green Crystal.
Sensing you have completed its test, the altar opens and a crystal amulet is revealed.
You allow Bemeth the Gatherer to examine your Amulet of Green Crystal.
You hand over all of your Amulet of Green Crystals.
Bemeth the Gatherer tells you, "You have found one of the ancient amulets! Thank you, traveler. These artifacts will adorn the guardians of our Temple once more!"
You've earned 25,000,000 experience.
You've earned 3,000 Luminance.
Bemeth the Gatherer gives you Mana Forge Key.
Bemeth the Gatherer gives you A'nekshay Token.
Notes
- The Corrupt Conflagrations in the 21.0S, 7.5E - Ancient Portal dungeon also leave a Flame after being killed, which gives the same message when used. It is unknown however, if these count towards the 20 total for this quest (the Altar mentions "in this place")
