• There are two entrance portals: The original one at 75.9S, 29.0E and a new one at 59.9S 55.0E.

Ye Olde Exploits

Before a patch in 2002, a party could take a shortcut through the vault by buffing to Jump 250, jumping on a wall candle, and then jumping onto a walkway above it. In a patch note, the fix regarding the exploit was given as: At the beginning of the Serac Vault, you can no longer jump on the candle.
