The Exploration Society was created to help new arrivals to Dereth by giving them both valuable information and a purpose: to explore this new world. The group is based out of Eastham, though there are no officals or buildings there to signify it. Sir Candeth Martine was a member of the Society until the then leader betrayed him and traded him to the virindi. Martine would later take his revenge on the Society by killing its leader. He also destroyed six of the Starter Outposts where new arrivals to Dereth would appear and the training halls were found.
When the Halataen Isles opened up the Exploration Society took over Elysa's training halls and established one in Sanamar as a neutral party to train new arrivals.

Quests

• Training Academy Quest - Complete the Society's Training Academy to level from 1 - 5.
• Facility Hub Quests - Complete quests in the Facility Hub to level from 10 - 45.
• Exploration Society Letters - Stamp red and gold letters using the Society's town stamps to receive items such as rended weapons and improved armor.
• Monthly Explorer Society Quests - Aid the Citizens of Dereth by completing quests in return for bonus experience from the Society.
• Arcane Pedestal Quest - Help Society member Slithe Tradittor build an Arcane Pedestal.
• Mace of the Explorer Quest‎ - Follow in the footsteps of Society member Candeth Martine before he was captured.
• Dereth Exploration - Explore Dereth and find all of Sean the Speedy's Exploration Markers.
