Summary: Son of Ilservian Palacost (Bael'zharon)

Avoren Palacost was the young son of Ilservian Palacost from the town of Daralet. When the Black Rains started the Dericost in the town were blamed for it because of the past wrongs of the Dericost lords and were starved.

Trying to save his son was the impetous for Ilservian Palacost leaving Daralet in search of help. This search eventually led Ilservian to the shadow where he became Bael'zharon. But it was too late for Avoren Palacost and Bael'zharon returned to Daralet in a vengeance.

During the Second Shadow War, Aerfalle sent Dame Tolani on an expedition to the mainland to recover the child's skull. The Skull of Avoren Palacost was a key aspect of the Dark Crucible that was used to weaken Bael'zharon so he could be defeated.
