During the Betrayal event, the first 1000 apartments were added to the game.
During the Repercussions event, 500 more apartments were added.
During the Atonement event, another 500 were added to the game.
During the Verdict event, 500 more could be now found in game.
During the Festivus event, the last 500 apartments were added.
Also known as Residential Quarters, apartments were the answer to the chronic housing shortage. They are squares without that many hooks, but at least it gives players a place to live.
The purchase is 30,000 pyreals and 1 Writ of Refuge, and the rent is 10,000 pyreals a month. Moreover, there was no option to pay ahead so that the renter would have "credit" for however many months or years they wished ahead; if the player stopped subscribing to the game, they would eventually lose the apartment, and all their belongings in it.
