General
You must have completed all three Silyun Faction quests and the Shade Iron quest in order to begin this quest. Completing this quest gives you access to the Whispering Blade Chapterhouse in Ayan Baqur.
Walk Through
- Speak to Harkwull the Discreet in Ayan Baqur.
- Travel to Sanamar and go south to Dardante's Workshop at 70.1N 62.5W.
- The dungeon is linear, near the end of the first segment are several Summoning Chamber Adepts that drop a Ring of the Summoning Adepts. Each person in the party will need one, wear it to enter the next portal to the Summoning Chamber.
- Continue to a large room where you can go left or right to find the Binding Realm where you'll find the Bound Falatacot. You can talk to him first, or go right to killing him, he drops the Untranslated Bound Falatacot Fragment.
- Return to Ayan Baqur and give the fragment to Harkwull the Discreet who will reward you with the Ring of the Whispering Blade, a translation of the fragment, and xp. Wearing this ring allows you to enter the Whispering Blade Chapterhouse at 59.9S 87.2W just east of Ayan. Note that the quest Tracking Grael rewards you with an orb that allows you to recall inside the chapterhouse, which means you no longer need the ring to get inside.

I seek someone of skill and daring to infiltrate the Summoning Chamber of Count Dardante,, King Varicci's chief thaumaturgical counselor."
Harkwull the Discreet tells you, "You must journey to Sanamar, to the Royal Hall itself, and find the portal to Dardante's Workshop. In there, you must find a way to gain access to his Summoning Chamber, and find what information you can from the spirits that the Count binds and torments there. Bring me what you find, and I will further initiate you into the mysteries of the Whispering Blade."
Harkwull the Discreet tells you, "I must also warn you that if you have made it this far into our confidence and are thinking of making use of those unscrupulous "plumbers" to erase your record of service... Well, suffice it to say, royal archives can be pillaged, but the Whispering Blade does not forget its own."
The Bound Falatacot speaks within your mind: "You will serve, man-thing. I had not looked to see another in here, and I can tell you are not one of the minions of the overreaching fool Dardante. Slay me, man-thing, and release me from my torment. I will grant you the knowledge you seek. Be warned, I shall fight back when you attack. The code of my people demands that I go to meet oblivion with blood on my hands and my head unbowed by submission.
