Dryreach

"A fortress forever besieged by Hea Tumeroks, Dryreach can be a dangerous location for an inexperienced adventurer. The Hea Tumeroks use this fortress as a training ground for their warriors, ensuring that the stalemate involving this fortress will never be resolved. Be careful on wandering out the front gates without a key, as they are locked to prevent the Tumerok from gaining entry."

Dryreach is a fortified town at 08.1S, 73.0E, besieged by Tumeroks, and has been since the launch of the game. Originally this was one of the most remote towns, unreachable except for a long journey, but now there are Dryreach portals in both the Town Network and Facility Hub which drop you within the town's fortified walls.
When Dark Majesty came out, it was revealed that the Hea Tumeroks loyal to the Virindi use Dryreach as a training ground for Hea that have just left Marae Lassel for the mainland. Nearby are several Tumerok training camps belonging to their various clans.
Dryreach is the starting point for a few quests, such as the Overlord's Sword, Dryreach Rescue, and the Tumerok Gladiator killtask. It is also the home of one of the two Tumerok Collectors on Dereth, the other being located in Fort Tethana.
Nearby is the East Direlands Swamp Portal, which leads to the swamplands in the eastern Direlands. This can be a very useful portal as there are several quest dungeons in that area.

Spawn Distributions

Unlike the rest of Middle Osteth, which has spawn distributions up to level 40, Dryreach is unique and is inside of a zone that spawns higher level creatures (most of which are Tumeroks) suitable for characters up to level 60.

Should you decide to make your own way to Dryreach, be sure to bring a Dryreach Key with you (purchased from the weary looking man in Rithwic or Eastham) unless you know how to pick locks or are able to leap over the town's walls.
