This sword and swords like it were granted to knights and nobles as a reward for exemplary service to the kingdom and the upholding of the Code of High King Pwyll. Given by the High King himself these swords were always presented with great ceremony for all to see. As a symbol, the loyalty and honor of the wielder cannot be questioned. As a sword, a truer blade cannot be found, serving as shield for the innocent and an implement of justice to the guilty. Notes

• In Shedding Skin the stats were improved, including for existing items, see Guardian of Pwyll (Retired) for the old stats. Also no longer drops on death automatically, it can be protected with death items/augmentations.
• The weapon now levels when you gain experience fighting with it and gives bonus spells the higher the level.
• During the Master of Arms event, the skill was changed from Sword to Light Weapons and the spells adjusted accordingly. The base damage was upped from 31 - 62 Slashing/Piercing to 52.48 - 66 Piercing.
