Asheron's Call Wins Gaming's Equivalent of the Oscar
At the E3 Gaming Expo, in a ceremony hosted by actor Martin Short, Asheron's Call received the best-game award in the Adventure/RPG category from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), a committee of executives from such prestigious entertainment companies as Sega, Sony, Dreamworks, Simutronics, Nintendo, Electronic Arts, and Hasbro, among others. The accolade is comparable to the movie industry's Oscar award. You can view the recipients of the various PC awards at the AIAS home site.
