* During the [[Treaties in Stone]] event, the updated "Scalpels" were renamed to Sharpened Virindi Scalpel. All pre-patch versions that didn't receive an update were renamed to [[Virindi Scalpel]].
* The Sharpened Virindi Scalpel can be given to [[Aun Ngationa]] for the old [[Virindi Scalpel]] and vice versa.
* During the [[Master of Arms]] event, the skill was changed from Dagger to [[Light Weapons]] and the damage upped from 9.6 - 16 to 25.8 - 43
* During the [[Road to Revenge]] the Sharpened Virindi Scalpel skill buff was changed from Finesse Weapons to Light Weapons.
