Quest Overview
Find the whereabouts of Lieutenant Karul, a Gear Knight who has gone missing near one of the Hoshino towns.
Warning: This quest has Hoshino golems which hit extremely hard. Unless your melee defense is very high, beware of attempting this quest solo.
Walk Through
- Talk to Lieutenant Roothe (80.7N 43.0W) at the Royal Tent.
- Enter Samurai Hausu, portal is on 2nd floor of the building at 79.7N 40.8W. You must go up the stairs and then around to the front of the house.
- The dungeon is a bit of a maze but seems to be symmetrical. There are also samurai statues that cast level 8 debuffs when you walk on the floor in front of them. These can be avoided by simplying jumping over the path directly in front of them.
- Note: For quick reference, use bludgeon on the clay golems (brown), lightning on the bronze golems (green), and acid on the iron golems (black).
- Proceed until you find a destroyable door, destroy it and continue until you find a second destroyable door.
- The final room has a Clay Golem Kachi. Killing it will summon a Bronze Golem Kachi, followed by an Iron Golem Kachi. The 2nd golem lets out a fire ring when killed, and the 3rd drops a key.
- Use the key on the door behind the boss and jump across the pit.
- Talk to Lieutenant Karul for Xp, 20,000 Luminance and a Legendary Key.

- Lieutenant Karul tells you, "I must swallow my pride and return to the camp. I need to gather my senses...and my pieces. I will embark shortly."
- Lieutenant Karul tells you, "You have earned these rewards."
