Quest Overview

Originally, this quest just involved lockpicking Anadil's Tomb and combining both parts of the staff contained within the tomb together. Since the Shadows have raided the tomb both parts have now been moved to different locations.

Walk Through

1. Head to the Tombs of the Sand Kings and take the note from Anadil's Tomb.
2. The note mentions an Abandoned Observatory to the north east (86.4S, 63.8W) as well as the location of the first half of the Staff.
3. Inside the observatory is a chest which contains another note, this note mentions that the second part of the staff is now located at a "temporary staging ground at 82.3S, 35.2W". The staging ground is the Lightless Catacombs.
4. The first note mentioned that part of the staff is at the Necropolis (49.0S, 54.3W).
   • Route: To get there take the Northwest Direlands Portal from the Aerlinthe drop point, from there head to the Obsidian Rim portal at 5.5N, 87.5W.
5. When you reach the Necropolis head down into the northern bunker and and take the Splintered Staff from the chest.
6. You now need to retrieve the final part of the staff from the Lightless Catacombs at 82.3S, 35.2W.
   • Route: To reach the catacombs, take the South Direlands Portal in Mayoi at 62.2S, 77.1E for a shortcut to the dungeon.

• During A Perfect Paradox event, Anadil's Tomb was raided and no longer contained the two parts of the Staff of the Nomads or required lockpick to open. The Staff of the Nomads was also updated.
